Each piece we create goes through multiple processes.  Depending on the piece, we use the wheel, slab roller and custom molds.  Sometimes the clay might go through 4 firings until we are satisfied with the final product.  We have spent 20 years practicing with color along with meticulous hand carving.

We are constantly coming up with new designs which is why our work changes from year to year.  Listening to customers helps us to keep motivated and try new ideas.

Our Process
Blue Moon has been producing art since 1982 in the foothills of Maine.  With clay carving  as our specialty, each artwork is a one of a kind creation.  Upholding a tradition of excellence in specialty clay, Blue Moon has traveled around New England/New York exhibiting at juried fine arts festivals as well as galleries. Our work is exciting and constantly evolving.
